LEGAL DEFENCE (UP TO £25,000)

Costs for defending a criminal prosecution or a civil action for unlawful discrimination or attendance at a disciplinary hearing by a regulatory authority; salary for time off work for jury service.

TAX PROTECTION (UP TO £25,000)

Costs for negotiating in appeal proceedings if a full or an aspect enquiry arises; a PAYE or Social Security regulations dispute; a VAT assessment; or an investigation into your self assessment return.

CLAIMS

To notify a claim, telephone DAS and ask for Claims Dept. They will forward a claim form in the post to you or via email. The completed form should be returned to: Legal Claims Centre, DAS Legal Expenses Ins Co Ltd, DAS House, Quay Side, Temple Back, Bristol, BS1 6NH.

You must not ask for help from a solicitor or accountant before DAS has agreed.

If you do, they will not pay the costs involved
